Anna and her son, Darrin, have been staying with us for years. This trip, Darrin wanted to catch a 40” and they made a bet if he did, Anna would have it mounted for him. Well, after fishing for an hour he NAILED IT! Then...2 hours later he got a 41”! He also caught a nice 23” walleye. #familytradition Ashten joins the 50+ club with this beautiful 51” Musky caught on a tip-up this past weekend!3/13/2023 We were happy to host these fellas on their first night on the trail to Alaska! We have moved fish houses to 12-15 inches of ice and are fishing at depths between 18-24 feet off the SW side of Oak. The warm weather over the weekend did weaken some of the existing ice. We have so far received 3 inches of snow from the current system with more anticipated. The forecast greatly improves for ice making this weekend. Sunset is open for BAIT, GAS and OFF-SALE. 8am-6pm We will resume normal business hours December 26th. When in doubt call ahead! Call the lodge for up to date travel details 218-223-8211*2 |
