Second Week of August Fishing Report by Dan Schmidt

Up at the NW Angle, we've had some crappies coming in off the deep points! Our water temperature dropped last week to 71 degrees so we are fishing fall spots - current and points. On the Ontario side, deep at 24-32 feet. On the Minnesota side, still at Four Blocks, fishing around 24 feet out in the mud. Muskies are still being found on the rocks.

Guests have been enjoying the rope swing during our shore lunches. 

Conner Schmidt, my nephew who is helping out around the resort until he goes back to school, caught a nice 32 inch muskie off the dock yesterday!
