Up at the NW Angle, fishing continued to be good this week! The emerald shiners have moved through so the walleyes are now scattered. They are not in your typical spots and you're not going to get 80 in one spot anymore, but it's still good walleye fishing! On the Minnesota side, at about the last hour of daylight get shallow - 13-14 feet. This produced limits around Oak Island. Duck hunting was good; our groups got their limits of ducks AND fish! On the Ontario side, we were fishing Johnson's Passage, even though the crappies were very spot specific, we were able to get our limits all week. Our biggest crappie was a 16 incher that will be going on the wall! Muskie Report by Forrest Huset: "We're trolling a lot of neckdown areas with current going thru them and walls that have steep breaks leading to deep water. Still 12-16 feet." Until next week, good fishing! Dan Schmidt
