Dad and I headed out with Dan Schmidt on the second and last day of our trip on Lake Of The Woods in search of big crappies. What a blast! If you like crappie fishing as much as I do I would definitely recommend trying this out. Dad had a crappie over 14 inches on the ice in the first 4 minutes. We got plenty of fish from 12 to just under 15 inches and saw a few fish from another group that followed us out that were over 15 inches. Also we got a few bonus fish through out the day some saugers a couple walleyes and a tulibee. What a blast! Big thanks to Dan Schmidt and all the staff at Sunset Lodge for making our stay an enjoyable one. Can't wait to try that again...

Chad and I had an absolute blast as usual. Dan, Sam, and all the staff went above and beyond as usual. Hands down the nicest and best resort on Lake of the Woods. Another bonus was that the Sub zero temps didn't keep us from getting our fish. Until next time Sunset!
