"We just got home from another great trip to Sunset Lodge and LOTW! The whole crew is awesome and makes our stay go by way too fast :) Here are a few pics, we had some great fishing catching anywhere from 16-25" walleye and I even snagged a 30"!! The fishing is great but the hospitality and food are even better! The one knock is the cabins only have a small dorm size refrigerator. They were gracious enough to allow us to use their kitchen freezer for our frozen food and ice packs. "We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset Lodge. We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. The staff was there to help and answer any questions we had and were very helpful to us (being it was our first time at the angle). The food was outstanding and service in bar/restaurant was excellent. The fishing was tremendous as well. My wife wasn't happy as she likes to read a book while we fish but the darn fish kept interrupting her from reading! The other visitors were friendly and fun to visit with as well. We will definitely be back to Sunset Lodge." - John |
