"We had a great time. Travis was over the top great!! He’s a keeper! He was there every night to catch the boat. He was there to get us gas. In the morning, he was there to get minnows. He even helped us get our boat running, when it wouldn’t start the second day. He really was great. When our boat broke down, Sam was going to send someone out to get us but we already had someone else towing us in. They go above and be on to make sure everything is great for the guest. Thank you and we will see you in June again. Don & Lois"

"I just returned from our fishing trip. As you know there were 13 of us. Let me tell you about our experience. This group of guys have been fishing Lake of the Woods for the past 8 years. We have stayed in 5 different resorts. Sunset Lodge is the very best resort we have ever stayed in! Your resort is clean! Your staff is great! The food and service is the best! We will be back! You have no idea how impressed we were! Each of my friends expressed the same feelings! I will share our experience with my many fishing friends! When I found your resort on the net it looked impressive. You never really know how good things are until you get there. Wow, were we impressed. Your staff treated us like we were special! Thank you for a great fishing experience that 13 men appreciated! I will work on getting another group together for next fall. We are not sure of dates yet but expect to move it forward one week as it works better for some of our group that are pheasant hunters. We will see and i will be contacting you when we get our plan together.. Thank You Rick" |
