We had a great time. Your staff, Corey & Samantha were most helpful. Looking forward to seeing you again next year. Just wanted to drop you a quick note of thanks for hosting the Lake Commandos television crew at Sunset Lodge last week. We were able to capture a strong episode for 2018 airings on Sportsman Channel (Q1 & Q2) and World Fishing Network (Q3 & Q4). I especially want to thank you and the rest of the Sunset Lodge staff for making this trip so great. We were not even inside the harbor before the crew came to help us. Thanks again for making our stay both productive and fun. Superb! Highly Recommend! This boat-to resort exceeded exceptions on all levels---service, locale, meals and accommodations. Fishing was superb--muskies and walleyes, all on the Minnesota side. Harbor protected my boat during a big blow, and slips had easy access to power for charging batteries.

We averaged over 50 walleye per day. This was our first trip to Sunset Lodge, safe to say, we'll be back. We had another great trip at Sunset Lodge! We caught some nice walleye anywhere from 19-28" and Ward had a fantastic catch with a 52" northern while jigging for walleye!! Please send thanks to Sam, Travis, Dan and the rest of the crew for the hospitality and especially to Sam for making a birthday cake for our son, William :) The Wrecking Crew announced we were there for his birthday and everyone in the bar sang Happy Birthday to him, made him feel pretty special!! I will send some pics! Our biggest walleye was 28 inches with several other slot fish caught. We also managed to catch a muskie while walleye fishing as well! Walleye fishing was good one day and rather slow the next. We got into some Jumbo Perch on the slow Walleye day so kept a few perch. Took several to the kitchen for a fish dinner and two sides. Fish was good as were pulled pork and Rueben sandwiches. Cory and Travis were GREAT! The best service and attention I have ever experienced at a quality fishing resort. I'd work hard to keep them on the staff. Great trip. Say hi to Cory for me as he was a BIG assistance on several fronts.  I wanted to personally thank you for a great trip! The entire crew had a blast, and is sounds like the fishing was fantastic! What is the maximum capacity of the lodge, and can we make reservations now for the same week next year? Thanks The trip was a huge success - great service, comfortable/clean accommodations and awesome fishing/guides. I've been to a number of places and this is one of the best experiences! I would highly recommend using guide Forrest Husset whether you are Walleye fishing or throwing for Muskie, he knows the spots and will keep you on the big fish! This year we had 3 guys that were not along last year. The stay at Sunset Lodge was great! Food was outstanding! The staff were very good! I can tell you all 9 of us were impressed. When you drive your boat to the dock no mater what time there was someone there to help you tie up the boat! They moved our luggage to our room and again back to our boats. Your staff at the lodge is outstanding and went out of their way to make sure we were happy! We will be back! Thanks again Convenient, has gas, bait, and some food items. Ice.
