"Great place to go for a remote feeling ice fishing trip. Spent a few nights/days here ice fishing with Sunset Lodge. Did do a one day trip into Canada for crappies as well. Everything was great. Food portions were good, drinks were good and prices were extremely good, especially considering you are on an island and everything needs to be brought over. Staff was very friendly and the guides were very easy going and helpful. It nice that ice houses were a little further out and not piled on top of other resort houses. Very remote feeling on the edge of the wilderness. Fishing was good as well. Would definitely recommend. Have been to other resorts on the island and Zippel Bay ice fishing and this one ranks right up there. Each it's own feeling and pluses & minuses." The Monte
