​Sunset Lodge Guest Feedback - May/June 2021

“Couldn't fish in Manitoba so we chose LOTW and Sunset Lodge. All 6 of us agreed it was a great trip. Boats were great and lodging was good (didn't spend time in the bar or restaurant but we probably should have!!) We caught plenty of walleye for dinner (we did our own cooking) and the fry house was great. Caught 17 Northerns greater than 35' (40, 40, 41, 41, 42) and lost a very large Musky. Thanks to Travis, Corey and Nolan for all the fishing tips, fish cleaning, and help with the boats. Especially Nolan who couldn't seem to do enough for us.” – Brett C

“A great little place. We didn't stay there but I rented a boat from them and Travis was extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Went there for drinks a few nights and the food is good and the drinks are even better. Great spot in the middle of nowhere.” – Tim K

“Amazing place. The host knows how to cater for fisherman, he was ready at the dock every morning with bait and fuel, and when we left all our fish were frozen and neatly packaged ready to go. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well furnished. I hope to visit again soon!” – Donald R

“The most wonderful fishing trip I’ve ever taken. Nice, clean, comfortable and charming cabins. Beautiful lodge/restaurant/bar with great food and drink. Well equipped and clean Lund fishing boats in perfect working order. (Great fishing!). Beautiful setting- gorgeous sunsets. The best thing about Sunset Lodge is the people who run it. You’ve never met happier, more gracious people who thrive on making your stay wonderful. I’ve never been moved to write a review before. The folks at Sunset Lodge make it place you want to go back to. Great value. The boat shuttle across the lake from Sportsman’s Lodge is a perfect solution to the closed Canadian border.” – Ron R
