“We once again enjoyed our stay at Sunset. The staff was excellent, and all the dock helpers were very helpful, polite, and available. The wait staff in the restaurant were always on their game, friendly, and patient in getting our orders correct. Having the varied food offerings is special. Of course, Dan makes the best drinks anywhere! Everything was very clean and worked well in the cabin. Many places do not have AC, and it was big the week we were there, as it was warm. Niki does a fabulous job cleaning the cabins between guests. We are booked for two trips next year and will look for dates for the year after that. Built for fishing, the lodge is a prime location to shove off into the open wilderness. Besides that it is pretty straight forward and simple but the combo of a cozy lodge with good music and meals (made like you were in your mom's kitchen) will make it a wonderful social experience. Whether it family, friends, or colleagues this is a place to truly disconnect with technology and reconnect with human being. Don't worry, there is enough connectivity to get a sports game or TV show. It started with a call. I told Travis that my 85 year old father with tons of physical problems wanted to go fishing. He had previously fished at Sunset Lodge and remembered having a good experience. I told Travis what his needs would be and asked if they could accommodate. Travis was immediately on top of it. He told me when the best time would be to come, what cabin they could put them in, etc. The trip came to fruition this past weekend, and it went so much better that we even anticipated. They had even built a ramp to help get my dad in the cabin! Every single person at the Lodge was so helpful and wonderful.....from the dock boys to the guides to the restaurant staff! The guides went above and beyond helping my family have the trip of a lifetime! They caught their limit in fish, had the perfect shore lunch and brought plenty of fish home. The night meals were awesome.....especially my dad's favorite PRIME RIB! I am so grateful for all of the staff. The weather was perfect and the bugs weren't bad at all! I CANNOT RECOMMEND SUNSET LODGE ENOUGH! THEY WERE AMAZING! I am forever a fan of SUNSET LODGE!!!!!
