This place is so awesome. The accommodations are great. The staff is first rate. The fishing advice is accurate and not a closely guarded secret. The food is top shelf. The price is very reasonable and they make newcomers feel like they've been here 10 times before. I will definitely come back here year after year. Perfect for both fishin' with the guys or a getaway with the family. Stay here once and you'll be a customer for life.
 
The stay as usual was most enjoyable this trip… great weather and fishing. I had my three sons Nick, Jeff, and Jake attending and we all caught lots of fish… Shore lunch for walleyes and fishing trophy muskies. The trip was primarily for muskies and we were out most of the day. (thanks again for accommodating our LATE dinner requirements) We boated 6 real nice muskies and had several other opportunities, largest was 47” Once again your accommodations, dock reservations, food and hospitality made this trip most enjoyable. As you know I have been fishing up at Lake of the Woods for over 30 years and staying at the Sunset Lodge location since it first opened when the Bernhearts owned it. Your facility is as nice as it gets and the folks we dealt with Hunter, Travis, Dan and Samantha have always been more than accommodating to our needs. I will continue to bring customers and family to Sunset Lodge whenever we make a trip to LOTW… see ya in Jan for ice fishing again. Thank you once again for your hospitality.
