What people are saying about Sunset Lodge

As always, we had a great time at Sunset lodge. The food, accommodations and especially the staff were all outstanding. We did run into deteriorating ice conditions for the second year in a row, but I blame the weatherman for that. We discussed coming up a couple weeks earlier next year to prevent that from happening. Thank you for having us, and we look forward to visiting next winter.
 
It went great got our limit. Two giant perch we are going to have mounted. Skylers dad caught the biggest walleye of his life. Couldn't be happier, made reservations for the spring.
 
The trip was great. We were the first ones in at Christmas and the last to leave. The ice was a little sketchy on the way out but Travis led the way. Sam and the gang up there again are super people to be with. I invited them to my house when they all get into town for a prime rib dinner! The staff there makes that trip. Greg and I could stay at few lodges up there but that's why we don't. But don't tell them I said that, I don't want any big heads floating around up there.

Great place to stay and fish. Atmosphere was always awesome and the staff was great.

I had a great fishing trip up there but I got a little tired of the 50 mile an hour winds for three days, nobody can control the weather. The second day, and I only fished for a half day, was super catching six jumbo perch, a limit of walleyes one sauger, and putting back one 22 inch walleye. The  third day I caught and released a 35 inch northern. Not too bad for an amateur. Everything else was as usual 100% perfect meals, staff, food, and housing. Keep up the good work!
